This proposal supports our employees and their families, so they can do their best work and help forge a new era of innovation that secures the next generation of American steel jobs. It focuses on what matters most to our people – wages, benefits, and job stability – because that’s what keeps our business strong.
5-Year Offer
We’re putting forward a five-year offer, to provide greater long-term stability and certainty for employees and their families.
Healthcare (NEW – as of 7/22)
A collaborative approach to managing rising healthcare costs while maintaining strong benefits for employees and their families.
Steady Pay Increases Over Time
Annual base pay increases that compound to approximately an 18.2% total increase over the life of the agreement.
Bonus Upon Approval
A $4,000 bonus for all eligible employees upon ratification.
Holidays & Vacation
No changes to holiday benefits and existing eligibility schedule remains.
Retirement Stability
No changes to the Carnegie Pension Plan or Steelworker Pension Trust.
Unchanged Profit Sharing
No changes to the way profit sharing is calculated and continued uncapped earning opportunity.
During the course of bargaining, the Company will make additional proposals regarding benefits and other terms and conditions of employment.
